Brazilian artist living and working in Buffalo – NY since 2013. His artistic practice is related with photography, painting and digital art focusing on subjectivity and Queer Theory. PhD in Contemporary Arts by PPGArtes UERJ (Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro). Received a scholarship from CAPES to extend his research in Queer Theory and Portrait at University at Buffalo, under supervision of Jonathan D. Katz PhD. MA by UERJ with the research project “Rhiz’hommes” (2012). Holds a BA in Painting from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ – 2002). Founder and Director since 2004 of Estúdio Belas Artes, school and gallery of art located at Rio de Janeiro. He has been curating several art shows with local and international artists like Marcio Goldzweig, Carlos Meira, Pedro Mauger, Miguel “Vida One Love”, Penique Productions and has organized different students group exhibitions.
